Stem player website12/31/2023 Ye’s music is usually so well-protected and refined. We rolled out the products at the Yeezy Christian Academy, so the kids there were important co-designers. We worked very closely with the production engineers on both Jesus Is King and Donda to take the essence of music production and make it handheld and simple, even for a six year old. We looked at other pieces of hardware in the music industry. We looked at video games, arcade machines, and obviously the Kano products were a huge inspiration. We looked at stress balls, we looked at products that had been designed for people with autism. Some of the inspiration photos when the player launched were of literal rocks.įor sure. So not just these black screens, black boxes, squares that we feed through information on, but something more that feels like an extension of your body. We wanted to create emotional technology that’s also sensory, almost synesthesiac. We wanted it to be soft and circular and multicolored and with lights and they have to appeal to your senses. So, we iterated on the functionality and we shrunk it down. And that's funny you say “realized,” because James Turrell was an inspiration and his book is called Extraordinary Ideas Realized. It's almost like an open source concept, and yet the music is always so clean. I think Ye has that customizable, community-driven approach inherently, the way he did the astonishing listening parties, where the album was taking shape in front of people's eyes. They cracked my laptop on a concrete floor and I saw the inside of it were all these components.Īnd that was what first made me realize that this world around us-even the magic of digital technology-is something that can be deconstructed and something that can be understood. I fell in love with Apple products when I was a kid and then somebody destroyed my laptop in front of my eyes, someone near and dear to me. It’s really what I've been looking to build my whole life. What conversations did you have about the original intent behind it? I think that began a creative collaboration and friendship. And do something themselves with it rather than just take it for granted. It's about transparency, simplicity, and the fact that anyone can understand technology, not just use it. We sold them all over the world, and we had some success, but Ye really saw what it was at its core. So even six-year-olds could build these computers with their families. GQ: How did you get involved with creating the Stem Player?Īlex Klein: Ye discovered our Kano Computers, which are transparent, buildable computers that have colors to signify how each piece of the computer works, and a storybook in the box that shows you how to build it yourself. Instead, Donda 2 will only be available on a pocket-sized, literally rock-inspired device called the Stem Player, which first dropped alongside the original Donda last fall and lets people manipulate songs by isolating elements, allowing them to be sped up/slowed down, reversed, and even looped. So it’s certainly more than just good timing that, according to a press release sent out on Saturday, Donda 2 will be the first album of Ye’s to be released independently, and not under the umbrella of Def Jam/Universal Music Group.īut the endgame here isn’t West’s own version of a digital streaming service nothing Ye does is ever quite that obvious. This month he also hosted a brunch for prominent Black members of the media, while his new head of Donda Sports, NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown, made public pleas to buy the Denver Broncos. Ye kicked off February by announcing “Black Future Month,” a rebrand of the annual observance that he feels is an antiquated way of honoring the Black community. (It’s not clear what that $100 million was for exactly, though it's worth noting Apple Music had the exclusive streaming rights to last years’ Donda listening parties, which set streaming records for the platform.)ĭriving this decision is the idea of ownership, a recent theme in West’s ever-evolving mission statement. Last Thursday, Ye announced the new album will not be available on any streaming service: not Amazon, not Tidal, not Spotify, and most contentiously not Apple, which West says offered him $100 million dollars that he turned down. Just because Kanye West (mostly) stopped using all caps in his Instagram captions doesn’t mean he intends to make the release of Donda 2 any less noisy.

Bathroom extractor fan dripping water12/31/2023 Backdraft dampers are designed to prevent the backflow of exhausted air. DamperĪ backdraft damper is a necessary accessory for your bathroom fan, and a quality product with a good seal will help ensure your fan won’t drip. The more efficient your bathroom fan can be, the faster it can exhaust hot air, and this means there is less opportunity for condensation to form. So, if your duct is shorter, it creates a more effective environment for the exhaust system to remove the air and moisture from the bathroom. Shorter ducts are more efficient because they can maintain the air pressure better. This might even involve replacing old insulation that is no longer functioning appropriately. This, in turn, prevents condensation from forming, so your bathroom fan can stay dry and drip-free. When you insulate the duct, you prevent the hot and cold air from meeting, which allows the extractor to exhaust the hot air from the bathroom. I believe that a condensation trap is unnecessary if the duct is appropriately and properly insulated, is not excessively long, and if there is a quality, airtight damper installed in the duct. Fans Less Likely to Need Condensation Trap If…ĭripping fans are common, but this doesn’t mean that they are normal. There are several reasons why condensation can form, and there are some pre-emptive actions you can take against the possibility. The meeting will still produce condensation. This can also occur in tropical environments where the bathroom air is potentially the cooler party and the outside air is hot. When the air cannot hold as much water, it forms droplets or condensation in the ducts, and this drips out of your bathroom fan. Condensation occurs when this hot air, in contact with colder air from outside, cools and can no longer hold as much water. The bathroom air is generally hot and humid after a shower, and the reason that the air is humid is because warmer air can hold more moisture than colder air. Your bathroom fan might be dripping for a variety of reasons, the most common being due to condensation.Ĭondensation is the product of the meeting of air of different temperatures. The seals on your backdraft damper are necessary for airtightness in order to prevent the exhausted air from flowing back into the bathroom. If your fan movement is compromised by building fungi, the condensation problem will worsen as air is exhausted less efficiently. Aside from the well-being of your household, mold and mildew can further compromise your bathroom fan if they grow on and damage the fan and seals in the ducting. Mold and mildew are health hazards, and we all want to avoid them. Dirty marks in your bathroom are unsightly and unwelcome, and as it is a recurring problem, your cleaning and repainting might feel futile after a while. So, it is very important not to have puddles standing in your bathroom for safety reasons.ĭirt and rust dripping into your bathroom will also cause staining. The water that forms on the floor can be a slipping hazard, especially for the oldest and youngest generations.

Run textwrangler script in r12/31/2023 In addition, there is a shortcut to source the current script file ( Ctrl + Shift + s ), which runs the script without echoing each line. In addition, in Rstudio you can run the entire script by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Enter without selecting any code. And in TextWrangler under Window:Palettes:Scripts you can add a key. To run an R command, put the cursor on the line of the command and then click the Run button at. Or take a look at Rscript for running R scripts from the command line. I use R mainly on typological linguistic data, and this biases the kinds of tests. Type the relevant R function calls into the text file. These commands are simple function calls. On my current machine, there’s over 1000 tools in /usr/bin, and life is just too short to go through them all doing whatis on each and every one, so we’ll combine a bit of command line power with some AppleScript magic, and produce a nice, easy-to-scroll output of all the summaries like the one in the screenshot above.Ĭopy the script below (or from my pastebin here) and paste it into the Script Editor ( /Applications/Utilities/Script Editor.app). please confirm that any scripts, plugins, or other applications you choose are compatible with your system and the version at InDesign you are running. Lake thunderbird state park hours12/31/2023 Long distance swim: On Aplocal swimmer Piers Hale swam the length of the lake, covering a distance of 16,800 yards in 6 hours and 10 minutes. Some 'winter swimmers' even swim throughout the colder months. Regular weekly organized open water swimming events are organized by the Triathlon Club of Oklahoma City in partnership with the Lake Thunderbird Boathouse from the end of April through to the end of September each year. Little Sandy is protected by a buoy-line about 50 yards from the shore that prevents boat access, Zoom Beach has a designated swimming area with buoys indicating 'no boats' allowed. There are a number of specified swimming beaches at Lake Thunderbird, including Zoom Beach and Little Sandy. The Boathouse Organization in cooperation with the Lake Thunderbird Education Foundation make possible several events throughout the year, including sailing lessons, sailing camps for children, an annual fishing derby for developmentally disabled children, sanctioned sailboat races, and fun regattas. The lake has two marinas and a boathouse that are operated and maintained by the Lake Thunderbird Boathouse volunteer organization. Lake Thunderbird is a venue for boating, fishing, swimming, and hiking. The Bureau owns the dam, which is operated by the local Central Oklahoma Master Conservancy District. The earthen dam has a height of 144 feet and impounds 171,400 acre-feet of water. The dam and lake were completed in 1965 by the United States Bureau of Reclamation. Oklahoma State Highway 9 was re-routed in 1963 from present-day Alameda Street to its current location, south of the lake. A feasibility study in 1954 led to a plan report in May 1961, and construction began on Norman Dam in 1962. In 1953 the issue of water supply was raised among a council of local governments consisting of Norman, Midwest City, Del City, Moore and Tinker Air Force Base, and it was forecast that by the 1970s and 1980s the cities would be requiring all available water to meet municipal demand. The Little River valley was the subject of several Army United States Army Corps of Engineers studies in 19 for flood control. Many locals commonly refer to the lake as "Lake Dirtybird" due to the very murky lake water. The lake is named for the Native American legend of the Thunderbird, a supernatural bird of power and strength. In addition to being a source for drinking water, Lake Thunderbird's secondary uses include numerous recreational activities. It is formed by an earthfill embankment ( dam) 7,300 feet (2,200 m) long and up to 144 feet (44 m) high on the Little River. The lake was constructed between 19 for the purpose of providing municipal water to the nearby communities of Del City, Midwest City and Norman. Lake Thunderbird is a reservoir located in Norman, Oklahoma.

It has been a while since I created this question, and as such I might be missing quite a few details, but I eventually did find a solution. Also, what can possibly explain the files being uploaded to the private folder being accessible without any restriction? I think that the images issue is related to some NGINX conf and as such I'll have to contact the web server maintainer to fix it, but I'd like to have some insight to share with them about this. I'm also using the IMCE File Manager module. I'm using a shared web server setup in which I don't have direct access to NGINX's. Right now I'm lost as I've been searching around for answers on these issues, but I can't seem to find them.

Amlodipine pinpoint rash12/30/2023 1Īmlodipine works by blocking the calcium ion channels and inhibiting the actin-myosin complex and cardiac muscle contraction. 1, 2 In rare cases, these reactions present as a CD30 + lymphocytic infiltrate that resembles clinical and histologic variants of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. Drug-induced reactions usually appear within weeks or months of administration of the offending drug and resolve within 2 months of withdrawal. A clonal rearrangement of the T-cell receptor γ gene was detected by polymerase chain reaction in the skin.Ĭutaneous drug hypersensitivity reactions account for roughly 3% of hospitalizations, 1 although this finding may be an underestimation because of variability in the presentation, identification, and reporting of drug-induced cutaneous rashes. The pathology-based differential diagnoses included lymphomatoid papulosis, lymphomatoid drug reaction, and less likely CD30 +-transformed mycosis fungoides. CD30 highlighted a portion of the epidermotropic infiltrate ( Fig 3). Immunostaining found that the large atypical cells were strongly CD30 + and weakly CD3 +. Spongiosis of the overlying epidermis was noted with subcorneal collections of neutrophils along with subtle epidermotropism ( Fig 2). T-cell receptor γ assay of the blood was positive for a polyclonal T-cell receptor γ gene rearrangement.Ī biopsy of the right thigh found superficial perivascular and interstitial dermatitis with atypical lymphocytes. Whole-body positron emission tomography–computed tomography found a mildly hypermetabolic subcentimeter left cervical level Ib lymph node with standardized uptake value of a maximum of 1.69. Flow cytometric analysis of peripheral blood showed a slightly elevated CD4/CD8 ratio of 5.4 but otherwise did not show an immunophenotypically abnormal cell population. Edgeendo files12/30/2023 Mean values of time to fracture (TtF) for EOF instruments were 28,00 seconds (SD +/- 2,64) and for WOG instruments were 14,67 seconds (SD +/- 2,41). Differences among groups were statistically evaluated with an analysis of variance test ANOVA (significance level was set at p<0.05). All instruments were inserted at the same length (18mm) and then rotated in the same reciprocating motion until fracture occurred: the time was stopped as soon as the fracture was visible and video-recorded with a 1/100 sec chronometer. The same artificial root canal with a 90 degrees angle of curvature and 2 mm radius of curvature was used for all the tested instruments and the WOG counter-clock wise reciprocating motion with an engaging angle of 150° and a disengaging angle of 30° at 300 rpm, was selected for the test. A mobile support for the electric handpiece and a stainless-steel block containing the artificial canals were used. The null hypotesis was that there were no differences between the lifespan of Gold treated and FireWire treated instruments when subjected to cyclic fatigue tests.Ĥ0 new NiTi instruments with a length of 25 mm were tested: 20 Wave One Gold Medium (WOG), tip size 35 and variable taper (Dentsply Maillefer, Ballaigues, Switzerland) and 20 Edge One Fire (EOF) (EdgeEndo, Albuquerque, New Mexico) tip size 35 and the same variable taper. Aim of this study is to investigate the cyclic fatigue resistance of the Gold treated WaveOne Gold and the Firewire treated EdgeOne Fire instruments. |
